All three of us started our journey from college to consulting about a few years
back. Over time we got the hang of the work, but one thing that kept on scaring
us was direct interactions with clients.
To us, they were some sort of aliens who had a lot of industry experience and
could eat us raw in any conversation. It took us a long time to understand some
parts of how the client thinks and makes decisions.
During a book competition organized at our company, we thought to combine
experiences from industry veterans and our learnings in professional services to
put together these thirteen quick-read stories to help people like us understand
the client and not think of them as a villain whose whole purpose of the life is to
make your life miserable.
