When I travel west, people talk about temperatures in Fahrenheit. We talk in
Celsius here.
What is this to do with communication?
One day the outside temp. was 62F in Washington DC. I need to go to a meeting.
Schooling has taught us a formula. All I need to do: 62F = (62- 32) X 5/9 = 16.6C
But is the Fahrenheit to Celcius temp conversion my question? Perhaps, I don’t
need an answer in Celsius per se.
What if I do 32F = 0C so this will be 32/2 = 16C. Basically, I will try to subtract 30
and then divide by 2 (mental task)
Approximations work !!.
But honestly, the real question I am looking to answer is: DO I NEED TO WEAR
JACKET OR NOT?
Remember this: are you finding 16.6 or a Jacket? You get in these situations
very often, without knowing about it.
